Today, Food Policy Action released the following statement from its Executive Director, Monica Mills, in response to President Trump’s budget for fiscal year 2019:

“This Administration’s budget reflects a reckless agenda that attacks the foundations that keep our economy strong, our food safe and healthy, and our land and water sustainable. This budget will harm our entire food system, including everyone who eats. Cutting access to safe and healthy food, defunding public health services, and unraveling land and water protections show an incredible disregard for all Americans and the precious ecosystems that sustain us.”
